A luxury villa on the southwest coast of Sardinia. Discover this unique and secluded Mediterranean hideaway with stunning views over Sardinia’s most beautiful undiscovered beaches and surrounding mountains.
Villa Figus is situated where the Costa Verde meets the Sulcis Iglesiente, in the midst of some of Sardinia’s finest (and least busy) beaches, nestling in the foothills that run down to the coast.
It is 1.5km from the nearest beach, Portixeddu, and close to the villages of Fluminmaggiore and Buggeru.
The villa offers comfortable, informal yet stylish accommodation for 16, comprising four double and four twin bedrooms over three floors. It is very spacious and has a large living room and dining area with additional glassed-in veranda as well as a modern, fully equipped kitchen.
A 20m long shaded terrace, facing the sea, runs the length of the villa with tables for alfresco dining. On the lower floor, there is also a games den leadingto an outside BBQ and dining area, terraced gardens and a spectacular 15m long, infinity pool.
The largest private pool in the region, it has views over the private gardens out towards the sea and sits within lush lawns and a largedecked area which comfortably takes sun loungers for all guests

Inside
The large comfortable living area (55m2/600ft2) comprises a glassed-in veranda with lovely views of the sea and surrounding hills, leading into the main sitting room.
There is a dining area at one end (which is generally only used out of season as meals are typically eaten on the shaded terrace).
Two sets of double doors open onto the terrace from the living area.The 20m terrace has a long table designed to comfortably accommodate up to 16 peopleunder a shaded portico with views out to the hills, valley, and the sea.It is accessed from both the living area and through large double doors to the kitchen.
The kitchen is modern, fully equipped and designed to cater for a full house of people eating and drinking all day long.For those who wish to cook, there is a large, five ring, cast iron gas hob with oven below and a complete set of kitchen equipment sufficient for any feast.To make life easy there are two dishwashers and a second fridge for drinks.
The den is on the third, lower floor and is accessed both from the house and directly from the gardens.It contains a full-size table tennis table, flat screen, sound system and provides a space away from the main living area and bedrooms where maybe the noisier members of your party can hide away…
Outside
The gardens are an extension of the house’s living space and are thriving. Grassy lawns, fruit orchard, indigenous Sardinian Mirto bushes and olive trees invite you to discover new corners in the one and a half acres of privately fenced off land.

“An idyllic and hidden corner of Sardinia. Villa Figus is stunning - huge, stylish, contemporary. Comfortable beds with state of art bathrooms and lots of them. Very well equipped kitchen. House works equally well if you are a large party and want to take over the whole house or just use one of the floors. Wonderful views over mountains and sea. Minutes cycle from long golden and (when we were there in October) near deserted beaches. Some fantastic walks."
